This was just a knife I 'assembled'. I was given a great Damascus blade and a few different carved handles. I put on bolster, fitted the guard and fitted everything up. It was a lot of work.

This knife and sheath was made by one of my first students. I made the Damascus, helped with the griding and gave some instruction. This was one of the first knives I made with a defined plunge line ... it shows!!

I prefer to use known cutlery steel for all of my knives. This was a special request that was cool enough I wanted to try it - Who doesn't need a pipe wrench knife and sheath?
